The new features coming weren't too exciting This place isn't active either. I'm gonna re-create it with more of a focus on chat and meeting people and include video chat and meeting people and a bit less like a Facebook. I don't know if that'll help (we all get bored after a few months every time ), but there's some tech I want to learn so it gives me an excuse. Also, clearly forbidden wasn't the site killer afterall so she'll be unbanned.

Mainly just toying with some layout ideas. I need rum to work faster!

Streamers would be like Twitch, where one person is on camera and viewers can chat in a chat box. Many years ago I had a very basic version of that (no audio) and some girls and guys did use it.

It already feels more normal than the layout on here.

Private chat is basically private messages but works like chat. Should be a better experience if both people are online at the same time.

This may end up being the home page. The icon at the top right shows the sidebar stuff when any exists. Like the button on here that's attached to the right side of the screen when using a phone.

The live feed won't show status updates. There may be a page just for that but otherwise it'll just be on profiles. Gotta avoid people thinking this is a FB clone.

Updated home page showing live streamers, which will only show if there is any. Similar to how Twitch is where people can chat with the person on video. I stole Twitch thumbnails for the example.

This will probably be private chat. It can support more than two people. Ignore the fact that it has me as Robin.. it's just fake data at this point to see what it would look like. I'm still playing with colors.

This is what the streamer part would look like. Back in the day, a few people did use the poormans version of it the site had. This is just an example showing a twitch stream. But streamers video on top, chat bottom:

Rather than just one picture showing on a profile, more will show. It's a scrollable list. You'll have control over which ones show and in what order. Whichever shows first will be your profile pic that shows everywhere.

This is just static fake data and clearly that's Jess, not me. Apparently I only have one real pic here. Profiles aren't done and still empty...

Tapping one is just like chat (as seen in a screenshot in a previous post) except with arrows to see the next picture...

Only thing missing is ability to go to a page where you can like and comment the pic. I'll add that ability but it may come later.

The profile feed is like the home page feed where it contains stuff like giving a gift, entering chat, but also profile comments and status updates. It'll be perfect for stalkers... so they can watch everything you do! Ok, not everything.

The home page live feed won't show status updates or comments other than that one was posted. Profiles show it though. There may also be a page just to show status updates as well.

If it's your profile, hitting the pencil button lets you post a status update otherwise it's for posting a comment. The button will be there on the home page for posting a new status update.

This is the sidebar on profiles... (still working on the look of it)...

Not sure if there will be trophies. If there is I think I have a backup from Krack so I could give people their trophies back that they created. There might just be site related trophies instead of users giving them though. I'm trying to avoid creating a Krack clone -- this sidebar isn't helping.

Actually, no giving love, gifts, trophies in the beginning. I gotta stop re-creating the same site! It may get added later though once the population is up. There will be something else, something new for us.

Needed real data to start working with so I'm implementing the importer.

Purple isn't the only theme color. It'll probably be the default but you'll be able to pick the color. For example, here's the blue:

There will probably only be dark themes, or at least to start. While you'll be able to pick your text color (like the old days), there won't be multi-color (maybe one day). Colored text doesn't work well on light themes so it requires extra coding to turn that off. So that's why it'll come later, if at all.

I kept it for you Before this site I was making a new site and these themes are from that. I did a lot of work on the themes so I'm glad I'm using them for something.
